Pastor John J. Owens, IV

Pastor John J. Owens, IV graduated from Jackson College of Ministries in Jackson, Mississippi. Since graduation he has worked in many capacities during his 20 years of ministry. Pastor Owens has served as the Chaplin Intern during a three month internship at Parchman Correctional Institution; Interim Pastor in Douglasville, Georgia and a full time evangelist.

In May of 1995 Pastor Owens followed the direction of the Lord and came to Providence Rhode Island. Within a few months of his arrival at Truth Tabernacle he was appointed the Associate Pastor. In March of 2003, he assumed the pastorate from retired Rev. Joseph Dinwiddie.
